As long as you keep yourself well hydrated it is a good way to help promote blood flow and get your muscles recovering (especially when combined with stretching and other things).
It would only be a problem if you did not make sure you kept your water intake up to correct for the water you sweated out!

I agree with Emma-Leigh - hydration is very important; I've found that after a hard workout, and I
know that I'm going to be really sore, I sit in the sauna for a while. I generally end up not as sore as I normally would without going in. I assume it's because the increased circulation assists in recovery.
