I hope all of our USA folks in here had a great Thanksgiving Day. For our friends accross the border and over the sea...your happiness and health were in our prayers of thanks.
Momma Snake and I went to Piru Canyon Ranch which is owned by my old pal George Sack, Jr. who for you who go to the movies know as the guy who jacknives big rigs. Piru is in the mountains of So California 50 miles NW of tinsle town. The ranch looks over Lake Piru and has an elevation from 1500' to 4000'. It was built in 1890 as a cattle ranch. In the pics you see the rock house which was built back then but drop dead modern ranchy inside. The main house sits on top of a livery stable, game room and wine cellar. We ran the quad runners all over the place and shot up the hillside as you can see. Dinner was awsome at the main house. We are truly blessed.
Looks like you had a wonderful time up there, Baldie. It's definitely pretty country. One question, though; do you really let a guy who made a living jacknifing trucks handle the utensils necessary for carving a turkey?
