If you want to go hardcore just eat a ton of potatoes and turkey. That's extremely clean.

Hey guys I've also been thinking about this. I mean, I've come along way from 231 down to 205. Does one day of eating turkey, pecan pie, corn and all that other stuff make someone go back to eating ****? That was my main problem before I started dieting. Ugh. I'm a sucker for pecan pie too. It's gonna be tough. lol!

guys, its one day, just start grazing (eating 6 meals a day) the week before thanksgiving. up it to 7 meals a couple days before, and if u time it just rigght, ur metabolism will be so fast, that no matter how much u eat, on thanksgiving, it will have a minimal effect on u , even if u gain a pound or two, u can take that right off in a week, give urself a treat, thats what life is about... or if u have been cutting, ur stomach is used to small amounts of food so u wont be able to eat much anyway (atleast thats what happens to me)
also in response to the pecan pie guy, usually if u have been eating clean, mad greasy food might put ur body in shock and u will be crapping like a champ all day, happened to me when i gobbled a whole pizza on my cheat once, either way the food will go in and out right quick

I've never had a problem with spluring on Thanksgiving. There is usually not enough icecream available to make it worthwhile.

I am still gonna watch what I eat. No pies, for instance. Everything else is fair game, though :P Probably put Legs on that day anyway to add some more mass with all that Turkey.

Going to have to run an extra 10 minutes a day to burn extra calories to get ready for it myself... I plan on pigging out on stuffing, which has a very very high GI... The stuff never seems to satisfy you...

Thanksgiving dinner is gonna be my cheat meal for that day. I'm gonna do everything else that I normally do (6 meals, work out that morning etc).
Next day? Right back on the grind!!

Losing fat isn't so easy for some of us.

and i'm not even cutting. I'm bulking. If you pig out and gain fat while bulking... then what? you're stuck with the fat until you cut again! I'm going to be bulking until mid december or beyond.

Skel, I love you and all, but I don't know if this is necessarily true for everyone. For example, my goal it to gain about .5 pounds per week in order to minimize fat gains. Let's say I start at 176, weighed on a Monday morning. I don't cheat for four weeks, averaging about 700 calories above maintenence. When I weigh myself four weeks later, again on Monday morning, I weight 178. HURRAY, I'm right on target! I cheat that day, let's say going 4,000 over maintenence. I gain 5 pounds, ballooning to 183. I return to my NORMAL diet after that, eating about 700 above maintenence. Next Monday morning, I weight myself and I weight...178.5. Still right on target!
Oh yea, and the above has pretty much happened to me. I really don't think that cheating on a bulk is a bit deal, as long as you eat according to your normal diet 99% of the time. Almost all the weight that you gain from a cheat is from water any ways.
Does that even make sense? Granted, it's not going to be the same for everyone, but still.

Can't wait
Man we had a huge feast here at work yesterday and I count that as my primer meal. My grandma usually fixes me a whole pumpkin pie and I eat the heck out of the turkey and mashed potatoes, Oh I can't wait. And I had the same thought about having a leg day following the day of feasting. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.

another issue i have is my next planned cheat is my birthday, which is not too far after thanksgiving
Due to my fat storing super genetics, i really am trying to avoid fat gain as much as possible. I see nothing wrong with eating two 800 calorie thanksgiving dinners
