Overtraining?
Hi, I'm 16 years old, 6'7", and about 205. I'm right now probably somewhere around 14% body fat, and I'm trying to get into single digits.
I have already decided a diet and exercise program, but I was wondering if I was overtraining. I feel that I'm pretty strong, i've been lifting for about 8 months straight now.
If someone could please tell me whether or not this is overkill, and if I'm going to lose significant amounts of muscle, plese tell me.
6:30 AM - water, stretch, and 5 sets of 3 minutes on jumprope, at 120 jumps per minute.
8:00 - first meal - Egg whites, oatmeal, whole grain cereal with green tea.
10:00 - 60 minutes weight training (1 body part per day) i e arms one day, back the next, legs, shoulders, chest: repeat next week
11:00 - post workout - protein shake
12:00 post workout meal - whole grain cereal, grilled chicken breast.
3:00 - snack - whole grain cereal OR oatmeal
5:30 pre workout meal - brown rice and chicken breast
6-7 Nap before kickboxing
8:00 workout - Muay Thai kickboxing
9:30 - post workout meal - chicken breast or small amount of steak and veggies.
11:30 - Oatmeal
