College Textbooks...any way else to get em..ebook, etc
Just wondering if anyone has came up with any clever way of gettin textbooks for cheap, either by photocopying them or getting them in e book formats, which can be printed off...im getting sick of paying 170$ for a text ill use once in my life....tried finding ebooks but i dont know how my search will go..

Try Amazon. I always buy mine there and the books cost a fraction of what they would at the university bookstore.

University bookstores are evil. So are universities. They purposely find texts you can't find anywhere else, especially those written by the profs at the college, so 1. the prof gets paid 2. the college dictates the price because they make up the retail (which is always rediculously high just because they can) 3. you have to pay the college.

Just get the ISBN number off the textbook and go to half.com and ebay. You can get the books for about 30 bucks a pop for something that the bookstore will sell for 150.

Yep, and you can usually RESELL them on Amazon for Almost as much as you paid for them in the first place. I have gotten $400 worth of books for 20 or 30 bucks many times this way.
