On 100% Whey Gold Standard Choc Mint Review.

hey all, i just recieved a 5lb of the Gold Standad Choc mint, i will be reviewing mixability, taste, value, comparison to old ON CHOC MINT.

mixing 3.5/5- mixes perfectly with a shaker bottle, but if stirred in cup quite a few lumps form.

taste 5/5- tastes great with water and is heaven with skim milk, exactly like a mint pattie milkshake MMMM.

value 5/5- obviously great value at 28 bucks a tub on bbing .com but they dont sell the gold standard yet, i got mine from a supp. store for 40 bucks. still good pricing.

compared to old choc mint- both taste great, the new flavour isnt as sweet as the old and tastes much better because of this IMO. mixes the same, apparently has better ingredients and a higher protein percentage. same great price.

overall 9.25/10- u really need a shakerbottle to get the right cosistency, if used with the shaker bottle this product is flawless but to all to people who cant afford the 10 bucks for a shaker bottle, then id give it an 8-9. so it depends on what you have to mix the product.

once again LOVELY TASTE. mmmmm.

I just got some of this stuff too. I usually just stick to the chocolate flavor, and never tried the Gold Standard either.
I really like this stuff, should have tried Chocolate Mint sooner.

For mixability, I found it mixes a lot better than the old stuff. I always use a spoon to mix. If mixing in a cup of skim milk, the old chocolate stuff would ALWAYS clump to some degree. So far I've noticed the Gold standard mixes a lot smoother. You still get a couple small clumps, but nowhere near as many as the old stuff. The actual consistency of the powder seems to be slightly bigger particle size or something. I notice its not as "powdery" as the old normal chocolate.
