Day AFTER eating binge???

I'm in the middle of precontest diet and Ive' peaked way too early. So I went to the Golden Corral just for a GOOD meal something different. So I had 1 steakburger, no bun, plate and a half full of spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, cauliflour, red onions and reg onions and some green peppers. I ate a lot of this without any dressing and i also had about a 3.5 prob 4 oz slice of their top sirloin steak, cutting off the outside edges of fat, and 3 pieces of rotisserrie chicken, eating only the white meat and i put some honey mustard, and fat free ranch on top of the rest of the veggies on top of the steak for a nice mix and ate it. I also had 3 medium yams. and about 3 oz pot roast. So it was a damn good meal right? Well, then i couldn't resist and took 4 stage 2 optimum starch blockers and 5 BSN cheat tabs and then had 7 straw berries and 4 or 5 chunks of cantalope and 2 scoops of pudding (bananna and cookies and cream), 5 cookies, piece of apple cobbler and peach cobbler, piece of apple pie, 5 brownies, slice of choc cake, cup of vanilla ice cream and orange sherbert, caramel fudge, a cup cake, 2 bites of peanut butter pie (which made me wanna puke at the end) and two slices of strawberry cake as well. I was seriously so full because i ate about 6-8k calories in that one meal and was so dehydrated but i couldnt even take a sip of water. i then went to bed and timed myself, i finished eating at around 5 pm and then woke up and it was about 18 hours after i had eaten. i went to the gym for some light cardio for 35 mins on an empty stomach and didnt eat until 20 hours after i had eaten the buffet. i had 142 g p today, 147g carb, and about 19 f for 1,346 cal...all i had all day.....just want some opinions on this...is this bad??

i've been known to binge eat once in a while but looking back i think i woulda felt better just getting a milkshake or a bowl of ice cream after my good meal...or just eating a whole calzone or pizza and callin it a day =/

you should be fine, but i advise that you dont starve yourself like that post cheat. thats stupid and a complete waste of a good cheat. first off, why cheat if you are going to feel guilty? you said it yourself that you peaked with your diet and needed a break, you gave yourself a break but then you were mad you did. why? cheating is supposed to fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. second, you cannot compensate a lot of calories one day by eating a very little amount the next. your body is smarter than that and all that serves is starve your body of proper nutrients to help it function normally and get it back to the way it was precheat. if you are going to cheat in the future, do it for fun and dont look back. if you are going to feel guilty about it all, id do refeeds instead.

im a student at pitt and live in bloomfield. i dont compete, nor do i think id like to really. i just eat well and workout cause i love this lifestyle and love the fact that through dedication one can change themself entirely. i was once a fatass and now im not, the ability of one's body to transform itself is truly amazing.

Now that's a cheat. You should have lifted weights the day after. Sure, you're spilled over but you would get a pump from hell.

I binged a few days ago....trying an experiment. It was the first time in years I ate absolutely nothing heathly for the entire day. Mcdonalds. Krispy kreme, nachos, and then mexican food at night. I'm sure in a few days, when I drop some water I picked up, ill look like I did before ther binge.

If you feel you are dialing in too early, simply up your caloric intake slightly, preferrably with carbs. Change nothing else.
