Peanuts, bad?

I have been adding a handful of shelled peanuts with my three meals while at work for some added protein and good fats.

Anything wrong with this for a cutting diet?

They are so yummy =)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. Just as long as you don't eat a giant bag of them.

Fat has gotten a bad rap and I don't know why. That is, good fat. Peanuts are LOADED with good fats, vitamins, and minerals. If I had my choice, I would go for unsaturated fats over carbs. Eating fat does not make you fat. So down those peanuts bro. WIthin moderation of course.

they also help alot on the low carb diet, by not only giving you a good sourse of fat and protein, but giving your fiber, usally something low carb diets lack.

I eat peanuts as well. Almonds are also good to eat as well.
Haven't stalled my fatloss yet.


I also eat Skippy, but that's another story.

Thanks for the words guys, I have been having them the last four days, three handfuls a day, and they have 9g carbs per 100g which is pretty good.

The salted variety have a whopping 80 - 90 per 100g so I am sticking clear of those!

And I have seen your love for skippy plastered all over these forums 97LT1 =)
