recently started jogging after months, v.sore on inner thigh

i used to jog all the time 7-8 months ago, and my legs would never get tired or anything (very little soreness). after an 8 month absense ive stated again, my legs are pretty sore (expected) but my main concern is my inner thigh.. (imagine trying to do the splits, you feel a stretch on your upper inner thigh). its so damn sore, its difficult to walk...i dont think its DOMS, its a different type of soreness....now, should i simply ignore it and continue jogging? (and gradually it'll get used to jogging and running often and g back to not being sore) or should i let it rest completely before jogging again (only to have it go sore again).

it doesnt bother me one bit when i workout my legs or anything, so that isnt a concern, i do a proper warm up/cool down/stretches etc but the damn soreness persists. once i actually start jogging it gs away within 5 mins, but when i finish its back.

any tips on whether i should continue jogging and let it slowly go away/rest/any other tips would be great.

got inner upper thigh?

I got the same thing, man. My inner leg gets really sore when running. I think the trick is to either power through it and expect that your body will adapt or mentally change the muscles you use to run to take the focus off the gracialous muscle.
