Oh, and regarding the segment tonight, I thought it was one of the stupidest angles in a long time, and yes that includes all the others they've had recently (kane/lita's wedding, etc etc.)

IMO, it certainly made Eddie and Rey look bad...what did we get out of it? All it did was make me think, wtf was this angle all about and where is it going? The reaction of the crowd pretty much said it all, they were dead quiet and had no interest either...something that never happens to Eddie and Rey, considering both of them are two of SD!'s top 5 over wrestlers...

What it showed to the *smart* fan was...so Eddie's jobbed to Rey a handful of times now and this is their way of making Eddie look somewhat good? By making Rey his b!tch and having him get on his knees? WTF...

It's not over...this isn't "getting even" with Rey, it's continuing the feud. I think it's a pretty ****ty way to do it, because now no matter where they go with it, it already has the stink of "child molester" all over it. Eddy is now officially a god on the mic, but even he can't polish this turd...

its lame, at first i thought they were doing a pedophilia angle (hey they've done a man rape, and woman rape angle so thats not too far off lol), then i started thinking it was gonna be just as lame (could they actually make that segment good anyway?) and have eddie be reys sons real dad. "You're very good looking just like your dad" or something like that. Child molester?

You guys are way off.

Theres no way WWE would put that on one of the most over guys in the company. And to be honest, I dont think theyd do that storyline, thats too sensitive of an issue.

I don't know where they're going with this, but Eddie seems to have regained his fire. My first thought was child molestation angle ("do you like bedtime stories?"), then I thought Eddie would be the kids real dad, but they completely threw me off with Eddie offering liquorice to Rey.

I do have a theory though, and it fits perfectly with both todays booking team and Vince's eagerness to leech off of more mainstream entertainment.
Rey is an Oompa Loompa. His "son" is Charlie. Eddie helped both them of them escape from Wonka's Chocolate Factory when he went there to steal liquorice. But now the liquorice is running out, and Eddie's going berserk because he needs Rey to help him get some more.

2) The fact that the issue is "hot" right now is exactly what makes me think they'd do it, anything that's pop culture makes them feel clever.

I really dont understand how someone cant see the connection, but nevermind that. Im still in shock Booker AND Kurt went along with the rape angle (the same Kurt who was offended at a crucifixion angle goes in an angle in even more bad taste)

Im not gonna comment on the angle because I havent seen it yet (though WWE's writing has been degenerating fast for some years now)...can someone tell me the gist of it, what happened?
