MMA Bas Rutten DVD's
I just finished watching Bas Rutten's "Big DVD's on Combat". I was pleasantly surprised. This is probably the most complete DVD set I've viewed. Conditioning, training, ground fighting, stand up, combinations, etc etc. Pretty much every aspect of mixed martial arts is covered. I have 3 of Mario Sperry's sets, Randy Couture's, Tito Ortiz', Chuck Liddell's, Pat Militech's, Frank Shamrock's, and a whole bunch of other MMA DVD/VHS sets and this is the best one. I was surprised too. So if you're into watching DVD's to help you improve your MMA game or want to learn a few new things, this might be something worth considering. I've seen them go for pretty cheap on ebay.

The Sperry videos were like the MMA must have for some time. I have seen Bas' books but not the dvd's. you know, you could always rip some copies and sell them to us at a discounted price, nothing wrong with a little piracy.
i keep hearing rumors that bas is going to fight again but i would not think his health would allow it.

Mario Sperry's sets are all really good, but definately not worth what they retail for ($200US a set). Each of the DVD's is not even an hour long. But the stuff on them is solid. The drawback to them is that you've got to have a basic background in MMA to get what he's doing. Some basic stuff he doesn't explain and why it's important to do some things.
I'm way too lazy to make the copies, haha. I picked up the Bas Rutten set on ebay for only $115us. For the dollar value it's the best out there, that's why I recommended it. I'd say there is at least 10-12 hours on the DVD's.
I'd love to see Bas back in the MMA arena. He only fought in the UFC 2 times that I know of and I only saw limited bits of him in Japan. I'm unaware of his health problems? What's wrong with him.

Anything from Bas Rutten is Gold... The same for fedor... Any training tips comming from Undisputed Heavyweight champions of the world should be taken 100% seriously... If Bas or Fedor told me cupcakes were the secret to whooping ass, than ill be back in 10 minutes im going to the bakery...
