Syntrax Nectar: Crystal Sky Vs. Apple Ecstasy Vs. Fuzzy Navel
OK, so I've given all three a try -- and I get sick of only really hearing about how Fuzzy Navel is the best flavor.
But after my experience, I can't deny that so far Fuzzy Navel is the best!
All taste good. Fuzzy Navel is a peach flavored, Crystal Sky A fruit Blend, Apple Ecstasy... Apple.
Taste
Fuzzy Navel is pretty true to taste, and it's not too strong like the other two, so you probably won't get sick of it fast. Crystal Sky is bearable -- it tastes like Hi-C/Kool Aid almost, I'd recommend not smelling while you drink it as it smells like medicine (pepto bismol type smell). Apple Ecstasy, while it takes like apple tastes almost exactly like an Apple flavored Airhead. It's got a pretty intense flavor, and I could see someone getting sick of it after a while.
Mixability
All of these hold true to the "Mixes with a spoon" claim, which cannot be said for a majority for protein companies making the same claim. You can throw it in some water, mix it pretty vigorously and it's a done deal -- no clumps.
Overall, they're all flavors, some better than others. And they'll prove to be a nice break from your usual generic chocolate/vanilla/strawberry flavors of whey. But with only 23 grams of protein a scoop you may find yourself going through a tub pretty fast to get a good amount of protein in your PWO, especially if you have it anywhere else during the day.
If you had to get one, I'd definately recommend the Fuzzy Navel flavor thus far, it tastes good, and won't get old as fast as the others.
