Peter Manfredo vs. Sergio M.
I'm going for Manfredo! This guy already has a great boxing record. Sergio is good but Manfredo has more experience and is just as fast as Sergio. Sergio has only won his previous fights because of this speed. Manfredo has speed and strength. Look at how Manfredo won his previous fight! I'm going for Manfredo all the way!

What was jesses problem, he deffiently should have won that match. It looked like he halfassed it the whole time waiting for a good punch.

I hope Peter wins. Sergio has speed, and is an excellent fighter. Hes very light and quick on his feet, and Peters prolly the underdog. But Peters just come such a long way and I like him a lot, and I have a feeling hes going to win.

Because he had something like 2 or 3 days rest from the previous fight. IIRC, it's generally 1 week off for each round of the fight. So he should've had almost two months rest between those 7-rnd fights. He did well for doing back-to-back fights vs. two solid opponents.
I'm pulling for Peter in the final bout.

Jesse made a mistake. When he was winning all of those challenges he should have made his fight earlier. As it was he was fighting sergio on two days rest. I believe sergio had rested for a couple of weeks. Manfredo wins easily

I thought the same thing. Jesse was such a wuss about the fight saying his body was not ready, what a whiner. The fight between sergio and peter should be a great fight. Go Peter.

Sergio is a much better fighter and very smart. Sergio has speed and studies his opponents too very well. Sergio will win.
Jesse is a good fighter but is slower in executing his punches. When he hits he hits real hard.

There's noting wrong with being honest - Jesse felt he was not ready - he had not rested enough between fights. He knows himself. And is truthful.
Sergio is probably the best all around fighter. He does not just fight someone he studies his opponents well. He is real smart and utilizes ALL his talents in the ring. And is a damn good Guy.
Sergio will win in the end and win the million. HE should.

The problem was that Jesse was saying this earlier in the season before his other two fights. It seems to be a pattern with him. I agree that they could have given him time to heal between fights, but he should have fought earlier if he had the opportunity instead of playing match-maker. Hopefully, they will gave peter and sergio more than a week to heal up before the big fight. Is the final fight live?

The final fight is live and it's tomm, Tuesday, night. They ended taping the series last fall sometime, so all the fighters, including the ones on the undercard have had several months of rest.
I think Sergio will beat Peter in the finale because he's a very smart boxer. He utilizes all aspects of the ring. Every fight he has taken his opponents advantages and made them disadvantages. His speed allows him to do this. When Sergio fought Ishe, he took Ishe's style and made Ishe miss his heavy shots. Jesse never could get Sergio pinned in front of him for a significant amount of time. Bonsanta stood in front of Jesse, consequently, Jesse found an opening for a KO blow. Sergio knows not to stand toe to toe with a harder puncher.
Peter Manfredo is a really good all around fighter IMO, but he doesnt do any 1 thing exceptionally better than his opponents. Sergio has much better speed and I think that will be the deciding factor. However it turns out, both of those guys look deserving of more shots in the future.

Yea, I believe there is a runner up fight and a fan favorite fight. A while back you could go to yahoo and vote for who you wanted to fight on the undercard. I'm unsure if there will be 1 or 2 undercard fights though. Also does anyone know how many rounds the finale will be ?

I am betting on Sergio winning the fight tomorrow night. I think Manfredos an incredible boxer, but as others have said Sergio uses a strong mental game in the ring and I think that will come in to play tomorrow.
Should be a great fight though!

Jesse was just exhausted I guess, and his motivation was not at its highest. Sergio needs to check his ego though, he thinks he's unbeatable. Manfredo all the way!

It didn't make enough in the ratings for renewal, but Stone said he will be shopping it around to other networks.. you can bet it will be picked up by someone. It was stupid of them to keep changing the time slot and then end up a Sunday night.
ps. I think Mora is gonna beat Manfredo with speed and defense... and does anyone else think Manfredo v. Gomez III would make an excellent Friday Night Fights headliner? I would love to see it as a real boxing match without the editing.
