Buffalo Wings

Anyone eat Buffalo Wings while on Keto?

Chicken high in protein.
Hot Sauce- 1000 TSPs: 564 Cals, 35.7 Fat G's, 37.6 Carbs, and 60.63 Protein G's.
The only drawback is the butter, 1 cup has over a thousand calories.

I wonder if ten wings would hurt?

Yeah you're right although I don't think Zaxby's batters their chicken wings......if so, I'll just get a grilled chicken sandwich.

Real Buffalo wings aren't quite that bad - they don't actually have that much butter. (I'm a Buffalo native, so trust me, I know wings ) Nonetheless, they probably still have too many carbs for keto. The batter is what does you in there. You could go for baked wings, of course, but that's like ... well, like settling for masturbation instead of sex

Cool Wings can be fine

I buy those frozen wings. Pan fry in olive oil(virgin, not extra because its burns)

1/2 cup real butter, 1/4 cup red hot, a couple hot peppers(diced) and some lemon juice. Simmer until peppers are tender. Coats about 2 dozen wings. Then sprinkle with cajun seasoning.

Calorie dense, but a tasty snack.

Question interesting...

do you use these as a "cheat" treat? I would think that it would
throw you out of ketosis? Is the amount of carbs in the crust minimal enough to not matter?
