if you could go back in time what would you change?
apart from betting on major sports event what would you do?
i'd probably go back to the late 19th century, make some weights as best i could, eat a whole lot(money and restrictions permitted in those times) and be a pioneer of bodybuilding
i'd obviously try n warn people of events like 9/11 but you'd just get thrown in jail for being crazy
your turn

Whoever said warn people about 9/11 is an ignorant douche. Yes it was unfortunate, but there were MUCH MUCH worse things than that. Like Hitler, Stalin, The black death etc.

Kill Hitler before he got in power.
If not, then not have all the ships docked in Hawaii.
Send the undamaged ships to Japan instead of the Nuclear bombs.
on personal note
Stand behind the guy with the gun.

I would have beaten Bill Gates ass before he got a chance to purchase the original code which later became MS-DOS. I would have purchased it myself and made millions right there. Then I would have stolen the original idea of a graphical user interface OS from Xerox and turned it into a multi-billion dollar empire named Microsoft

to the people saying they'd go back in time and prevent Hitler from coming into power......
As awsome of a scenerio that sounds it probably wouldn't be a good idea.
You have to think for a second. Einsteins works may have never gone public if it weren't for WWII.
I also think Japan was slightly influenced to attack us because of Germany. If it wasn't for Hiroshima Japan would have remained a "turd" world country like Laos/Thailand/Vietnam, especially since there would have been no incentive to remodel and start over.
Now that I think about it. Germany would also be a very poor turd world country even to this current day. After they got pwned in WWI their whole economy was in the crapper. Sorry to say this but in a way Hitler helped lift that country out or turmoil.
WWII lifted us out of the great depression.
and on a sadder note. If all of the people that were killed (soldiers/holocaust victims) were still alive today, they all would have kids and their kids would have kids and the worlds population as a whole would be a lot larger which means more crowding.
A lot of european families left Europe because of Hitlers wrath upon europe. Most of you would have never become American citizens.
WWII was a big impact upon the whole world.
But I think 9/11 could safley be thwarted without any serious consequences. All you'd do is tell as many people as possible. If they didn't listen to you, you could go into the towers and trip the fire alarms and have a friend issue bomb threats. People will leave the buildings and unfortunatly the planes may still crash into the buildings but the lives lost would not be as great as it was. You'd probably be arrested and interrogated because people would think you had something to do with the crashes since you tried to warn them in advance, but would it be worth it?

I would go back during the Jesus days and prevent the idea of religion and instead get everyone to just love life and the earth and stuff. I'm sure we would be better off.

lol, its a bit more complicated than that.
There are a lot of stupid people in this world that rely on religion to live out their daily lives. People have changed their lives around because of religion, plus Our country and the constitution is founded and loosley based upon the religion of Chrisianity (although it doesn't seem like that anymore)
If you were to succeed in your little plan. You probably wouldn't come back to a Country called The United States of America. It would probably be called: Northern Mexico, Southern Canada New Europe or worse yet.....New France.

Teach the calculus and Newtonian physics to the Ancient Greeks.
