Do you think i could get this ticket taken away?
So yesterday i went to walkmart to get some steak sauce, was in a hurry, cuz the family was cooking dinner. I leave and come to an intersection.
I am going to turn left at this light
Well, there was a huge line, right when i got at the light, i was like the seventh in line. many left, some did u-turns, some got in the curb lane and went right. Its had been about 5-7 minutes by now. I felt, if i get out, the light to turn left goes green. So i kept staying in the line. After i got near the front, i just went to the left of the truck in front of me, and a cop came over railroad tracks near by and saw me. I think he may have seen me go around the truck in front of me.
So i tried to explain, but he didnt care, just wanted to give me the ticket. So if the judge sees it as a running a red light, i thought maybe i might get off, since it was messed up. But i doubt it. $70 ticket.

I can't see why you would get it dropped, set up an appointment w/ the solicitor before your trial date, you usually can get the fine knocked in half that way.

If you go to court and explain it the way you did here - the judge will likely throw you right out of his court after doubling the fine.
That, sir, was one of the most egregious abuses of the english language.
Ever.
Aside from that, you can always argue your point, if in fact you're able to explain it. Who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky.

haha i edited that. I dont know how i screwed it up. Well, a bunch of people i know have gotten out of speeding tickets and what not for stupid reasons. One was going like 15 over, and he said it was dismissed because the judge didnt want to bother.
i still should have taken the safe route, was just in a hurry. No cars were moving near the intersection, because the side across from me had the greens, but there was no cars.

Rofl do you think a cop cares what the situation was? He doesn't give a **** all he cares about is issuing tickets and making money. The judge will take his word over yours 99.99% of the time so you're stuck. You'll definely have to pay and if you're a teenager you'll most likely have to do community service and maybe a bs 6 hour driving course.

Ok. I understand it better now.
The chance of it being dismissed are directly proportional to the mood of the judge, your prior record and whether or not he decides to come to work and f- with people that day. In other words - 50-50.
You can always argue your side if you take the time to go to court. Sometimes, you'll sit in front of the magistrate and he'll walk you through it, cut your fine in half and erase any points.
Good luck.
