i know a guy that lives in a tent he is an electrician up north or some thing (northern canada)
he says its starting to get a bit to cold but i dunno what he will do

That's different......I look up to and respect any soldier living in a tent. And hope you don't have to for much longer. Stay safe and come home soon. 
As for the rest, living in a tent is fine for a weekend camping trip....or if you're a Native American - teepees FTW....anyone else is just sad.

There used to be a tent city in Toronto near the waterfront, bunch of homeless people set up shop there...they busted it up real good.

My flatmate rented his room, then let it out to someone else (making a small profit) and lived in the backyard in his tent for 6 months.
The b*stard still managed to hook up in that thing at least once a week.
