How do you guys get the hook ups?

I mean special service at a certain spot or something of that nature.

Here's an example. I get gyros from this one Italian restaurant from me somewhat often and they know that I'm THAT guy that loves their gyros, so I always get good service there and extra large ones at this spot simply because they know me. I also tip them pretty good.

Where I started working my new job downtown i used to go to Quiznos down there. The dude there knows my face so he gives me a discount once a week or so since I ate there so much.

I know some friends that get treated to the bar at a bar/club simply because ppl know their face at the place a lot and they spend a lot of money there.

So what kind of hookups do you guys have and how do you get them?

Dude, I wish I had the food connects. I have all the weed connections in town but I don't get hooked too often... sometimes the pizza place I frequent bumps a couple of bucks off my orders (either that or they're illiterate), but no fatty hook ups.

Mostly from friends I've known since gradeschool; one is doorman at this club I frequent, 3 are managers & assist managers at aldo/the bay/moores clothing.

But my favourite drinking buddies work at the LCBO(gives me a free bottle for every bottle I buy) & Beer store(steals beer). Most of them are going to school for different programs(law/biochem/finance/ec) so hopefully we can all help each other out with whatever in the future.

As far as **** I've provided myself, frequenting places is the best ways.

Since I moved on from college to the real world, I starting tipping bouncers when I go to the bars. When you get up to him, just say "hey, what's your name man?" "I'm ___ have a good night bud" and then tip a 20. couple times of this, and you'll never wait in line again.

I've gotten free food just from going to the same place a lot.

In college, there was an IHOP on our walk from the bars to the apartment. We used to pop in there a lot, and we got to know the night manager. So we stopped having to wait in line for a table or anything. Then he got promoted to day manager, we had to wait again, and we never went to IHOP again (a good life decision).

I think the best way to get the hook up is to either become a regular or throw money around. People appreciate it when you take care of them, and they'll likely return the favor.

In my dorm i would eat like 5 times a day so all the cooks knew me and would give me huge servings. And they would hook me up with some eggs or chicken even if it wasn't on the menu that day.
