bump. Ended up having half a grilled chicken breast & a 60 calorie yogurt with 10 grams of carbs & 5 grams of protein.

I eat a slow digesting protein before bed time and many there also do. I would not eat a complete meal just some cottage cheese or a casein shake. I would not do whey and water as that is a fast digesting protein.

eat what you like before bed as long as it fits your daily macros. it would be wise to have a semi-balanced meal.

I'd go with a slow digesting protein..
Caesin protein (cottage cheese) and maybe some fat to help slow it down.
People also tend to go with lean meat from what I've seen.
In reality you can eat anything - make sure it fits into your macros. I'd rather try to avoid a bunch of carbs / sugars at night though.. I'm trying to sleep, not do something requiring energy.

It would be better if one consumes food with a lot of fiber and low cals--Something like Spinach,Carrots,Beetroot..
That in a way fills up your stomach and have the feeling of satiety. This way you can even consume less cals for the meal before..
I just ate 3 tomatoes, and a half Beetroot..It filled me up.I have a feeling of having eaten a big packet of fried rice..
