home gym vs proper gym
hi guys, ive recently been training somewhat of about 6- 8 months with just a bench press, barbell and dumbells. i manage to work every body part and i keep my diet in check. recently ive found that i have plateued, i try to mix up my routine but at the end of the day im very limited in what i can do. should i get a membership, will it really make a difference using all the other gym equipment?

I work out at home. I prefer to have a gym membership because of the atmosphere. I feel more pumped at the gym.
It's also good to have a spotter when you bench press.

if you work out at a gym you won't be one of those news stories where a guy gets crushed without a spotter lol
That plus a good gym will have for you a squat rack, t-bar base, chin up bar, cables, and so on.

I would prefer a home gym with 1-2 partners that live close by.
