Want to make 5k-20k in a week(read here).

Around christmas time to new years become a garbage man. I made over 10k in a week on tips, due to a rich area. Some of the guys who do the huge routes make 20k in tips and gets loads of free beer and chamapangne ...sure the work sucks but it pays off..


then quit because you won't get anymore tips till next xmas.

In my town one guy usually does about a few hundred houses a day *5 days.

$20*400 houses on one day.................=8k....those are for the huge ass trucks.

my moms an accountant for a trash company and most of the drivers that work there already make 60-100k a year, with overtime. No need to tip them. They should be out there for that money

3. While garbage men, now that I think about it, are the only occupation truly deserving of a tip, I have never heard of it.

well people do tip them and this is what they get...I tip just about everyone...

I tipped a bell boy at my hotel 100 bucks one time because he complained the hotel because I had to wait 3 hours to check in and he got a suite after that.

depends what you are doing 16...i think to ride on the back of the truck and launch trash....18+ to drive and usually a CDL for bigger one..

some guys are making 70k plus benefits then 15-20k in tips.

I tip waiters and taxi cab drivers as long as they don't behave like jerks. Other than that I would rather send to missionaries of charity that help in under developed countries. This is the first time I heard of tipping a garbage man. Most of the big tip money during Christmas is made by bartenders because the happiest time of the year is often the most depressing for some.

Another great winter job is working at a Christmas Tree place.

On any given weekend day, you can make up to 200 bucks in tips + what you make an hour..(usually 8).

His options include empty beer bottles, empty milk jugs, used condoms, and an assortment of food products.

Where the hell do you live? Here our garbage trucks only has a driver. He pulls up and they have two mechanical "arms" that grab our can and dump it.
