A NO BS Review by ForceLB ~ Orange Triad, White Flood
Let me explain for those of you that don't know me. I have a strong aversion against company reps on this board to put it nicely. I hate the fact that a product can get hyped up on here and make n00bs buy a product that might not be what they are looking for or might not be the best product. Also people then jump on the bandwagon and become sheep. I love the fact that we have company reps on here that can answer questions about their product though.
So when I constantly see this stuff about Orange Triad being sooo good, and White Flood being amazing I was skeptical to say the least. Could this turn out to be another Size On? How could White Flood possibly top my NO-Xplode or Xceed? There is no way OT is better than my staple for years of Animal Pak right? Well Controlled Labs has been nice enough to let me decide by sending me WF and OT. I let them know that while this is a sponsored log/review (you really cannot do a log on a multi), I would give a non-biased review, bashing the products if they are crap or praising them and supporting them (because I will have actually tried them, unlike some people on here) if they are good.
I have recently just started taking both products last week, so this initial post will be first impressions, and later posts in this thread will be updates and final impressions.
First up: Orange Triad
No need for fancy spreadsheets and the graphics that clutter up todays logs and reviews, lets get down to it.
So I began to look at the ingredients after hearing about it so much, and of course comparing it to Animal Pak. Both have great ingredient profiles, great dosages of vitamins (just remember the SS for AP is 2 paks), while AP has an energy complex, EFA's and BCAA's, and OT has a joint complex, immune complex, and digestion complex. Both seem very solid. I have stomach issues and am slightly lactose intolerant and allergic to some wheat etc, so I am very curious to see how the digestion complex will work for me. With winter coming up the immune complex should help (and being a D1 football player I cannot afford to get sick), and not having to buy a separate joint complex is great (I don't use Cissus in the on season, and OT's joint complex is very complete it is all there.) Also IMO I think AP is a little outdated with the shark cartilage etc,and I am curious to do some tests to see if all the pills really do dissolve at different rates, while OT is brand spanking new.
Currently I have been taking the dosage 6 a day, at 3 in the morning, 2 after practice and 1 before bed. It does not keep me up and I do not notice any difference multi wise between taking OT or AP. Going to have to wait a bit before seeing how the Joint Complex and Digestion helps. The pills are easy to swallow, smooth, and kind of taste like pumpkin rather than orange.
Initial Verdict: A great Multi, and because of it's price I do not see any reason to take AST's 32x or NOW Adam anymore. As for Animal Pak we will see. I am switching on and off doing some comparisons. AP is ~$0.66 a serving and OT is about 10 cents more. If you take into consideration the joint complex then it becomes a good deal, and I have yet to see any studies about having a joint complex in a multi effecting absorption at all.
White Flood V2:
First Impression. I have only taken it about 4 times so far, but I am impressed. The ingredient profile is once again impressive, getting caffeine and beta Alanine (I was not impressed with Body Octane, so I will never buy a separate BA product again), in the same product is great. I only wish I saw some L-Carnitine in there as caffeine and L-carnitine is a great mix for energy for me. Either way it comes in the same container the new Xceed does, so no clumping or anything thus far. Taste is a 6, with Xceed being a 7 and Cellmass mixed with gatorade a 10. Initial taste is good, but there is a slight after taste which is kind of funky. Definitely better than Xtend which tastes like cleaning chemicals or the moldy oatmeal that is Size On berry. The good news is that unlike most products the taste is not that strong so mixing it with gatorade like I do most things kills the taste pretty much.
As for energy. I like it. It does not give me that "Hell let's throw on more 45's energy" that NO-Xplode gives me, and I attribute that to less caffeine, but the energy certainly gives me a kick and motivation and is a great calm confident energy. Definitely good. And, another thing I noticed...it really gives you motivation. I tried it out for the first time on an off day to see how I responded, and even with one scoop it gave me the motivation to do a term paper that otherwise I would have waited on. Got a case of the lazy's? Pull out the WF!
But the best part of this product is unlike Body Octane or NO-Xplode or SuperPump 250, once you take it, that's it. No burping up the taste, no bloating or sickness, no runs to the bathroom. Nothing, which makes it great for taking it before running or practice which I would have to use Ripped Fuel for as NO-Xplode would make me throw up.
Initial Verdict: A solid product with lots of bang for your buck and servings. Still to soon to see what I would prefer it over.

Oh BTW the Skull Cap was a nice touch, and I can't wait until it gets cold to wear it as it is one of the few hats that looks good on me. Skull cap gets a 10/10

Update:
Have now taken WF before practice...great, no burping or sickness, mild energy that lasts...and it puts me in a really good mood...something caffeine has failed to do for me in a while because my tolerance is pretty high at this point. Currently taking 2 scoops. Taste is getting old, but still tolerable unlike other crap, not a hinderance. Solid forumula so far and the buzz/high is nice. In fact I just took some now to get me through 3 hours of work ahead before I go to bed...more on how it effects my sleeping later.

Damn this stuff is great. I took it before bed because it was either wake up and do the paper or fall asleep and not do it. I have now been up 24 hours straight since 7 PM...used it to get me through practice and DAMN, never even felt tired or anything. Time to crash later.

Update:
Joint complex has kicked in and it is great, no pains what so ever in my knees or elbows which is great for this time of the season. Shoulders kill me, but that never goes away until the off season anyway. No comments about the diggestion complex yet.
White Flood continues to be good. I do not take it during practices anymore because with the adrenaline it makes me way too jittery and jumpy, even at just two scoops. But, for lifting that same feeling is great, I use it for our week workouts. lots of servings. Taste has worn old, but I pound it anyway, and it doesn't leave a lasting after taste or anything.
