Cool Newb starting out soon, need some advice

Hey guys

Well my name's Will and I've been training on and off for quite some time, but I think it's time now to get serious about this. I'm getting a gym membership soon and then I'll start with Rippetoes program I think. Today is the first day of spring and I'm not sure if I should bulk or cut...I'm 17 years old, 6'1" and about 78kgs. I think my BF% is around 13-15. I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll get some in future.

So my question is should I bulk up now? Cut now? What do you guys think??? Also I will be using no supplements at the beginning, but if I don't seem to get the neccessary protein that I should I will use some supps.

Thanks guys and any advice would be appreciated. Oh yeah and another thing I'm addicted to coke(Coca Cola) and I just can't seem to switch to water...=\

Thanks boyscouT, yeah I'm trying my best to switch from coke to water and also a healthy diet but it's so hard But people say it will get easier later... I hope so...

hey, if you can't switch over to water just yet, don't worrie about it, it's gonna work out just fine, the key is time and adjustment^^

just start by setting the goal of drinking that much water per day, start out with only a 2 glasses or 3... then move upwards^^

once you get to the point where you drink 2-3liters of water everyday, you should really not have any cravings for any sort of liquid(sadly, don't think it works against alcohol :P)....
(of course, I mean spreed em out, drink like 0.5 liters for every meal you consume)

at least that's what got me over to water^^

and yeah, even I want a coke some time (even though I drink 2-3 liters per day), but I usley lose the lust for it by the time I get to the store to buy some^^

and yeah, ONE coke once in a while can't hurt ya if you're livin' right

i say keep your coke in just drink it after your workout with a protein shake (doesnt have to be in the same cup lol)... thats a great postwork out drink..carbs /protein....
