I finally decided it's time to cut..how does this look?
Hi everyone. I'm 5'10" @ 225 lbs. I finally decided to start cutting, even though I'm not as big as I want to be...Here's what I'm doing to cut, can I get some input?
I'm getting up early mornings to a protein shake (w water) and Leviathan from Palo Alto Labs. Hitting the gym after twenty minutes and doing 35 minutes of cardio. 20 minutes is HIIT (45 seconds fast, 45 seconds slow), and the rest is usually mid paced on the elliptical.
I'll come home and consume some grapes for simple sugars, and take my creatine. Then I'll have somewhat of a big breakfast that consists of 1 peice of wheat toast, 5 egg whites, and a cup of milk.
My snacks through the day are:
String Cheese
Egg Whites
Tuna
Apple (usually after lunch)
Cottage Cheese...my snacks are all protein based, no carbs.
My lunch is usually a chicken breast with spinach salad, 3 bean salad, etc etc. Sometimes fish instead of the chicken.
Now for my dinner..I usually have 1 banana before my work out, then after my work out I'll go w grapes again for simple sugars + whey shake w milk, then 45 minutes later I'll have a complex carb like wheat toast again with protein from fish, tuna, egg whites...etc etc.
How does this look? I LOVE the HIIT in the mornings, I feel great the rest of the day. Also, I'd like to know if it's okay to cheat one day out of the week and eat things I don't eat the rest of the week. (I've already planned to eat choclate chip cookies w milk, jalapenio poppers at a BBQ I'm going to, etc etc...LOL)
