Working out 5-6 days a week = a Carb up a week?

If you work out 5-6 days a week, one hour each time, cardio each time, Should you carb up once a week? If so for how long?

In my experience, it depends on what kind of cardio you are doing. If you are doing some low intensity steady state stuff, that you probably get by without the carbup. If you do a lot of high intensity interval stuff, you are definelty going to have a hard time keeping up with it if you don't do the carb up. At least, I know I have a hard with sprinting and swim sprints without a carbup, and even with a two day carbup they are still pretty difficult on keto.

Most of it is, Moderate intensity steady state (for now) on a Elliptical (my feet f*cking kill from walking to classes in sandals) 15 minutes before work out and 10-15 minutes after workout

You'll need to just try weekly carb-ups and see what happens. Some people go anything up to 2, 3, 4 weeks or more.

I tried weekly at first but I wasn't losing so cut it back to 2-weekly and that worked a lot better.

I do quite a bit of cardio - 20 mins moderate/steady after lifting 3 times a week and 3 days of HIIT cardio. (I rest on the other day!) I really struggled for the first 4 weeks or so with my energy for the HIIT and was getting quite disheartened. But this week, something seems to have changed and I'm back to normal - plenty of energy and no more feeling like I need to swap legs with somebody who has spare glucose in their quads
