Cute girl at work...how to approach? (Serious)
Ok, so I've got two threads going at the same time here. Anyway...
I've been working at my company for almost a year now, and every now and then I'll get a call from this chick who by the way, sounds pretty hot on the phone, asking me for help on random things. I work in for a different division of the company than she does...I believe she's in Risk Management, and I'm just in Finance, but anyway, I've always been very professional with her on the phone and in my e-mails until I found out she's my age, so occasionally now I'll answer my phone when she calls and say "what's up?" or just loosen up my e-mails a bit but still giving her top notch financial analysis, etc.
So yesterday, this lady in another one of our buildings wanted a report delivered to her inter-company, so I had my secretary run it down to the mail room and I just went with her since I'd never been to the mail room and I had been sitting on my ass for 4 hours straight, no lunch. So as we're walking down, we pass the risk analysis department and I see the chick who I've been talking to for the past several months and she was bangin! She doesn't know who I am, but I saw her name tag outside of her cube and damn, I'm glad I've been nice to her all this time and I'm glad everything I've sent to her has been flawless work.
I'd like to have lunch with her sometime, but have no idea how to approach this without possibly messing it up and making our work relationship wierd. All of the other analysts here are telling me she's a nice girl and that I should go for it...lol.
