What's the advantage of palatinose over oat flour?
I've searched a little bit, but I absolutly have no time to read all pdf uploaded by Pt. All I know it is sugar like carb with low-GI, actually I got sample from local company and they make it fo bulk.
I wonder what's the advantage of Palatinose over grinded oat other than sweet taste.

Never tried palat.. but i use oats.. Grind them up in the coffee grinder. I use 2 cups and i must say.. i **** my brains out when i use it.. it doesnt digest to well.. so palat most likely is easier digesting.

Well I can't wait to hear some response by Pt since he seems to be pretty positive about palatinose.

Here's some more info:
http://www.palatinit.com/en/Food_Ing...ts/Palatinose/
It's a low gi (not that gi matters) powdered form of carbs with a sweet taste that mixes well. That about sums it up.

I have not tried palatinose, but I have tried oat flour and I find it scratches my throat on the way down. I opted just to have the oats separately.

I hear you on that one. Palatinose does not mix quite as well as dextrose will (solubility is a bit lower), but I think it would be a good carbohydrate for those who don't want to affect the consistency (thickness) and taste of a shake that oatmeal can tend to do. That said, oatmeal does have certain micronutrients that palatinose lacks, which can be a significant factor in this.

hey, natural guy.
Is this right protocol to use WMS as PWO? I'm curious about this product too.
A little hard to search in Intensemuscle.
immediately after w/o 50g of wms + creatine + bcaa
15 mins later whey 50g + carb(or not?) like grinded oat
1-1.5 later solid meal pro+carb

That would definitely work however the amounts of the carbs might be too much in a short period of time. You may need to adjust the amounts.

Some more info on Palatinose (isomaltulose)
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=944514
WMS seems to be used mostly pre/post workout with many reporting good results along with added pumps.
Palatinose is a low gi carb source that can be used when whole foods are not readily available and/or for convenience(although personally I'd still go with ground steel cut oats)
