Do you go heavy on your rowing movements?
Or do you go lighter on your rowing movements and really try to acheive MMC and focus on the contraction of your Rhomboids ,Lats?

i used to with questionable results
now i go lighter with slower negatives and strict form.
ie elbows in and full contractoin of the back with limited torso movement
however, i still push myself to improve, but not at the expense of losing quality form

I go heavy with fairly strict form on DB's. Still haven't quite mastered the Barbell row, trying not to use my quads anyways.

I try to use strict form with heavy weight for as many reps as I can (about 12) doggcrapp style. On the last few rest pause sets I will be a little more leanient and cheat to get as much stress on the lats as possible. Then I will strip about half the weight off and do a widowmaker set. Even tho the reps on this get up to about 30 I really try to focus on the mind muscle connection. So the short answer to your question is yes I do focus on the MMC sometiems and other times I just try to place as much stress on the back as possible.

Heavy enough to still keep good form but I am guilty of bar humping from time to time.

depends. on somethin like barbell rows weight is more important than form to me, but on something like cable seated rows its all about form/feel/muscle to mind connection.

Well Ive taken time off from rowing due to injury{never really could get the barbell row down, but was a big fan of the tbar row}, tommorrow I plan on getting back to tbar rowing and I want to really focus on the MMC and want both of my lats to get contracted, I have a real tough time with my left lat area

I start with strict form, by my last set I stand a bit more upright (on bb rows) and it has worked just fine (for me)

For back exercises I make sure to lower the weight to have very strict form, and I found that I am making size and strength gains much faster than I was when I just tried to go heavy.

I go heavy. No bar humping but not super-strict either. I do a follow-up exercise, lying BB shrugs, where i really concentrate on squeezing the shoulders back/together for a good contraction.

x2, back for me especially saw greater results in size during a strength cycle, though IMO it was just long over due.
I would never go so heavy as to not hold the weight at peak for at least 1 second and bent over at a decent angle. IMO unless you're a very experienced lifter then anything less is just cheating yourself out of gains
