Misc doctors - possible broken/infected finger *reps*
I had a cut on my middle finger for a while that wouldnt heal becuase i kept re-opening it. It finally healed but my finger still hurts. Its been healed for about 2 weeks and its not swollen or anything but the bone hurts. It hurts when i touch it and a little when i bend it too. I tried to hit my heavy bag too and it hurt like hell. Its right on the joint.

See a real doctor. It sounds like you may have messed up your joint and/or have an infection.

I suggest fapping it numb.

sounds like a minor fracture, you need an x-ray, and if that's negative, you might need an MRI on the joint.

Im thinking slight fracture too, because it doesnt look infected at all. The thing is, i dont remember doing anything to break it. And would I be able to bend it if it was fractured?

Because you kept re-opening the cut, you may have gotten an infection. A fracture is also possible and would need to be diagnosed on an X-ray, but you say you cut it not crushed it right?
If I were you I would keep my eye on it and make sure there is no swelling, redness to the finger. At the first signs of swelling or redness or warmth, rush to the doctor because a joint infection can permanently eff up ur finger.

You know how you have that big joint in the middle of your finger? It was a pretty deep cut along one of the creases on that joint. It would reopen everytime i bent my finger. Its healed now and there are no visible signs of infection, but it hurts when touched or i bend my finger. Is it possible to have a joint infection without it showing on the outside?
Also, I cut it at work so my hands were dirty all day and the cut wasnt covered up.

It's possible to have an infection that is not visible but it sounds like a fracture.

Because it is such a small joint, you might have an infection without obvious swelling. Go see a doctor NOW and they will drain any fluid from your joint to see if it grows bacteria. Although it is likely you may not have an infection, why take a risk? A joint infection that is not treated can lead to amputation of the finger!

X-ray is only if they suspect a fracture. Like I said earlier, you can always keep an eye on your finger and see if the pain goes away, but if it gets worse in any way I would head to the ER.
