If someone had just woken up from a 20-year coma.... (serious & non-serious).
what would be the first thing you would tell him/her?
I would say: "The World Trade Center is gone, after being attacked by terrorists".
Oh, and "Your money ain't worth **** now".

i wouldnt let them be in a coma that long. after a certain period of time there would be no purpose in life anymore - ESPECIALLY 20 YEARS!!!! Id tell them to pull the plug after about 6 or 7 years because after that its just too long and unrecoverable - it would be hard but IMO neccesary to happiness.
Say your brother/sister/son/daughter woke up out of a coma after 20 years....you would both be unhappy and depressed for the rest of your life. If they died you would be sad but know that you could move on like everyone else does when they loose a loved one. They're always in your memories and its always hurts, but you know its better that it happened that way....

i partly agree with you, they would be completely different people and more importantly you would be a completely different person. i bet its completely different when you're in that situation though
