Reset A.D.
I have noticed that my hair has thinned since starting Reset A.D. I suspect that pregnenolone may be the culprit. Any other esteemed board member currently taking Rest A.D. experiencing thinning hair?

I haven't encountered that side effect while taking it. It could be age, stress or genetics that are doing that. Heres some info.

I had a couple of gray eyebrows the other day that I had to yank out - I just finished my first bottle of Reset AD
I don't think the two things are related, I just wanted to share about the eyebrows

Heres another link discussing side effects of pregnenalone. There are doctors saying there are side effects, then there are doctors saying there are none. Most websites I looked up pretty much have the same info as the next site.

I've been taking ResetAD for 3 weeks and haven't noticed any hair thinning. I wish it would as my hair is thick as hell

My hair has always been suspectible to any type of hormonal supplement. Seeing how pregnenolone is a precursor to steroid hormones such as DHEA and testosterone, it is not difficult for me to deduce what is going on in my case. Oh, and I definitely agree, women can definitely cause accelerated rate of grey hair in men...no doubt about it....

This blurb is from the American Cancer Society website. There are so many conflicting opinions out there I really don't know what think...
Very little is known about the safety of the supplement or the effects of long-term use. Some lab studies in cancer cells and animals have suggested that pregnenolone may stimulate the growth of hormone-responsive cancers such as prostate and breast cancer. Pregnenolone is a precursor to steroid hormones such as DHEA and testosterone. High doses may cause aggressiveness, irritability, trouble sleeping, and the growth of body or facial hair on women. It also may stop menstruation and lower the levels of HDL cholesterol ("good cholesterol"), which could raise the risk of heart disease. Other possible side effects include acne, heart rhythm problems, liver problems, scalp hair loss, and oily skin.

Although I have to say that everything that Reset AD was supposed to do actually worked. My sleep was getting better, was never tired during the day and easier to wake up and it felt like I was a new man. I ran out a week ago and now all the sluggishness started back and harder for me to get up now.

I have no doubt that the supplement works, none whatsoever. I just noticed my hair had started to look thinner and Reset was really the only new supplement I had begun taking in the last two weeks....

Possible Pregenenolone Side Effects:
Pregenelone use may lead to side effects which include overstimulation and insomnia, irritability, anger or anxiety, acne, headache, possible scalp hair loss if used daily for prolonged periods. Pregnenolone converts into DHEA, which in turn converts into testosterone and possibly on to DHT. Other more serious pregnenolone side effects could include Irregularities of heart rhythm, heart palpitations, even on as low a dose as 5 to 10 mg. Do not take pregnenolone if you have a heart condition or taking heart medications. Do not take pregnenolone if you are taking other hormones unless your doctor approves. Consider using other supplements first to address a particular health concern before resorting to the use of hormones. Just because pregnenolone is available over the counter does not mean it is mild. Pregnenolone in high doses could be very potent.

I have never heard of anyone getting this side effect from Reset....but I would recommend to stop taking it if your hair is in fact thinning.

Either is correct. One of those weird words in the English language. Much like busses v. buses. Both are correct.
