This can afftect on how many calories you are burning in a normal day. These calories need to be counted for. If your eating calories based on a minimal amount of exercise then yes this will have issues on your gains. Use a BMR Calculator to find you daily caloric need.
Example:
Your eating 3500 calories on a bulking cycle. But with all your walking your burning 3500 calories over the entire day. Not good for gains.
