Not within Islam. Because by definition when you become a cult, you leave the fold of Islam and we have nothing to do with you. It becomes a heresy, something that an Islamic State would wage war against.

i heard that malcolm X changed his views on race after visiting mecca; according to what i heard he met a white muslim who totally convinced him of the wrongness of racism.

I'm not saying that the caller was right in any way, but it should be pretty obvious that everyone, especially those who listen to talk radio, that calling in with an opposing viewpoint will only serve the interests of the radio host.
The host can talk over you, they can disconnect you, and this is their right. But don't play into it.

When he visited the Ka'aba in Mecca, he was stunned at the sight of people of all colors and from all over the world standing next to each other and praying in peace. That's when he reconsidered what he was taught by the NOI non-Muslims.
