Why does everyone who is against homosexuality, get called homophobic?
No one is scared of gay people. So why call it homophobic? I am against being gay, and I think it's stupid how people say I'm homophobic. I'm not scared of gay people, and I don't have a phobia about it, I just don't agree with it.

Homophobic IMO would be gay bashing like if you went around with buddies looking for ***s to beat the **** out of. I find the thought of teh buttsecks involving 2 dudes revolting and I get disgusted if I see a dude checking me out but I don't consider myself homophobic, and neither should you. If you think people who eat **** are disgusting does that make you ****eateraphobic?

I hate homos. When I was young they would always hit on me aggressively. I also hate when they try to get attention because there gay. Also when they think they know how everyone should dress while there wearing a crappy outfit themselves. Also I hate that homo on youtube criticising everything and anything that thinks in his own head hes special.

i think im the only one that understand the OPs question. a phobia would be like being afraid of something. it's one thing to have a phobia or a fear, and another just a general dislike of something.
anti-gay would be the appropriate term i'd think.

Homophobic is a term used to discourage people from being anti-gay.
The idea is to accuse you of something and force you to defend yourself, instead of attacking (figuratively) the gays.
Frankly, I say that homo's are heterophobic.
I don't walk around telling everyone that I am heterosexual, so why must homos go around telling everyone what they do?

I think being gay is gross. However, at the same time you are presumed to be heterosexual, hence the reason they usually must go out of the way to show that they are gay. Imagine being invited strip clubs by co-workers , being told about the hot new intern..etc. It's awesome if your straight but not if your gay.

A phobia is not necessarily a fear, it can also be something you simply have an aversion to.
Either way I think 'bigot' is a more appropriate term for you.
