Weird fore arm pain

The last time I did biceps and forearms was last tuesday.
barbel curl
dumbel curl
hammer curl
reverse curl with easy bar
I was fine but saturday I picked up a dumbell to curl did it twice and got a weird shooting pain up my forearm along the bone. Kind of like shin splints if that makes any sense. The same pain occurs in both arms. But I do not have the pain during anny other lifts just curls.
This has never happened before any ideas on what this could be or the cause. At the least I'm not goin to do biceps this week.
Thanks in advance

it's from the weight stress on the ulna. i had the same thing. it feels just like shin splints and is more than likley caused by the same thing. microscopic fractures. i just lowered my weight a tad and had no more problems. i'm now passed the weigh i was at when it hurt, without any pain.

I would probably give yourself a little more time between bicep workouts. Probably a week until you are healed a little more. Just a slight ligament stress. Nothing to worry about too much unless it gets worse.

I had the very same thing, its kind of on the bottom of the forearm? And it just shoots up when doing curls.

When i was a lot younger and wanted to start doing weights (read: start doing bicep curls and nothing else), i developed that pain. I stopped doing that for a few years before getting into the gym, and noticed that the pain came back about 6months in, but only when i utilized certain grips. So for a while i did what didn't hurt, and eventually the pain subsided. Now i never get any such pain.

I think it also had to do with bringing forearm strength up, i noticed that the pain going away also coincided with me adopting some heavier and more taxing backwork, like deads and BB rows.

I had the same thing when I first started lifting, I think most people do. I know shin splints can cause small bone fractures but thats because your muscles aren't supporting your tibula (or is it fibula, I always mix those two up?) and your body weight is being placed on that bone everytime you walk or run. Fractures shouldn't be a problem with forearms unless you walk like a chimpanzee or you like to do handstands alot for some reason. I just worked through mine and eventually it stopped, although if I would have rested it probably would have gone away much quicker. I say take a week or two off and then try again. One other possible solution, although I've never tried it, is to wear thick gloves. If these pains are caused by the same thing as shin splints, its because the connective tissue in your hand runs all the way up your forearm and when it isn't arched correctly it stresses the ligament all the way up through your arm. Couldn't hurt to try.

Boozername is on a distinguished road. (+10)
I had that for 5 weeks.
Almost everybody gets it in their bb "cariers", eventually it will heal.
But you can do this: avoid curls until your f_arms are fully healed, do chins, take glucousamine sulphate(spell?), condroitin (?), vitamin C mix.
Nothing to worry about.
