The Arnold Classic 2005 Pic thread
This year was awsome !
Let me start out by saying that it was a pleasure to meet those of you who showed up.
Fitty, myself and nuc hooked up again and had a blast.
Even never2late form our section stopped by and it was a pleasure to meet him as well. CTGBLUE and his wife Ice and their beautiful little girls even showed up. Ice is even more beautiful in person and ctg is a riot and is a great guy IMO.
CTG and Ice could not join us for lunch and drinks as they were like 10 weeks out from their shows.
We were treated like roalty in the bb.com booth. While other peopel waited in a line somethines over 100 people..we walked in like we owned the place.
Monca Brandt even stopped a pic signing jsut to take care of us and take a few pics and chit chat a bit. What a sweetie her and the other ladies in the booth were. Valentina looked as hot as ever, as did Laura Mark. I think Brenda had a thing for me as she was all over me. It almost was like stalking when she showed up at the pub Fitty, nuc and myself were having lunch at. If I have to be stalked..not a bad looking woman to be stalked by. LOL 
Brend and Valentina looked amazing and these girls are not only beautiful, but extreamly nice and friendly, as was the rest of the bb.com booth staff.
I even Challenged Bob Chic to a bicep posedown but I'll let you all be the judge of who won. (He's competing in SF next week) Bob was great to us last year and even nicer this year. He is one of the nicest pros in the sport. He is regular people and is so genuine IMO. Bob took the time for pics, my posedown with him and just some time to shoot the ****. BB.com picked the right pro to rep their site IMO.
We moseyed over to the Primaforce booth where Layne Norton, who is a brother mod and goes by str8flexed and
Derek Charlebois, who has his own contest prep section of the forum, were working the primaforce/scivation booth.
I have never met eithetr Layne or Derek b4. They are booth great guys as were the rest of that booth. We were treated like royalty again and even shot the **** for a bit and Layne and I got silly and did a goofy MostMuscular pic together.
Fitty and I went to the Woman's and Men's finals. Both were Awsome IMO. Jenny Hendershott shocked some people and Derek Jackson IMO final got his due (even though I felt he was in abetter shape last year...but Jay was destined to win in 04.....LOL) Melvin Anthony did an awsome routine and won an award for best routine. I forgot my camera for the women's finals and found out I need a better camera for next year..one with a better optical zoom, so excuse the pics.......but it's the best I could do. LOL
We saw Lee Preist at the expo on saturday and I though he looked small and very bad form all the dieting in the face. But he wore a sweat suite so you could not really see what shape he was in.....but he looked small. Lee at the men's finals the next night.......looked IMO the best he ever has....he was ripped. He ended up taking 4th and the crowed booed as they thought he should have finished higher.
The Finals for me were more inspirational then you could imagine. They has inspired me to not only contine to strive to be the best I can, but to set my own personal goal bar much higher.
For those of you who wanted to, but could not make it, let me invite you all next year. Plan early and do what you have to do to make this happen. We are thinking of trying to get Ryan to let us have some official booth time for Mods and members for an hr or so each day, next year.
There is so much that took place, that I am still remembering more minute by minute. LOL
Enjoy the pics and I'll try and put up comments on the groups that I put up.

This was a GREAT time! At least 2 times better than last year. Chi and I really had a blast running around Columbus until the wee hours both nights.
The womens finals was pretty cool, but IMO everyone should see the mens finals in person at least once. Very impressive.
Ctg and his family, never2late, it was great meeting you. My Ohio brother Nucleararms is a quality act (and a big guy, we grow em that way here in Ohio).
The BB.com booth was awesome. Bob Chick is a complete class act, although I really don't follow the pro's, Bob will be my favorite.
The expo, the shows, the food and the drink makes this a yearly event for me.
I also will encourage fellow members to try to attend next year. This is one of the best times a bodybuilder can have!

I didn't get a chance to meet anybody from the forum as it was just crazy non-stop from the time we landed until we left Sunday.
This was the first time either my workout partner or I had been to the Arnold. All I can say is that it is hard to beat this show. And the city of Columbus is a great place! If you're looking for a great local place to eat - particularly for breakfast - we can heartily recommend Tommy's Diner - 914 W. Broad St. - just down from the Veteran's Auditorium where the finals were held.
We even managed to get some workouts in on Saturday and Sunday at the California Fitness in downtown Columbus.
THIS TRIP JUST ROCKED!
