Eh, that depends if I'm doing my own thing or the school workout.
When I was doing my own thing, I did the high rep stuff for about 6 weeks before I took a week off, and low reps for about 4 weeks before I took a week off (this was designed due to injuries).
For our school program, we lift for roughly 12 weeks at a time before taking a week off.
