Muscles lacking fullness....
I'm a lean basketball player and I've been seriously lifting for about 2 months now...when I started I was around 200-205lbs (I'm 6ft 3"). Now I'm tipping the scales at 225-227lbs but I don't really "SEE" the difference. My strength gains have been great. I'm doing flat bench presses with 120lb dumbbells for 10-12 reps but I don't "look" like I should be able to do that. Before I do my set...I can see people stop and stare with a look like "somebody better get ready to help this idiot because no way can he lift that" but then I do the set and they just stand there for a sec. kind of shocked. I looked pretty cut and ripped but my arms are only 16" and I still have a "lanky" look. My chest is developing nicely but it still doesn't look that big (atleast not to me). My diet for the last 2 months has been very strict (egg whites, tuna, grilled turkey & chicken, brocolli, and protien shakes). The reason I'm complaing is because outside of the gym..my muscles look very "flat"...there's not much fullness to them. I look pretty good at the gym while I'm all pumped but after that I almost still look like I did at 200lbs. Last week I had my first cheat meal in 2 months, I had Popeyes chicken (5 mild chicken strips & 2 biscuits). After I ate the Popeyes I could feel a big pump in my muscles and they started to look full (maybe due to the excess calories?). I read somewhere on this forum where saturated fat helps you be anabolic or something like that. I'm wondering if I need to include more fatty foods in my diet. My current supps are M-Stak, White Flood, GreenMag, and I just started to use GlycerGrow.
I'm basically looking for advice on how I can get my muscles to look more full...they're gaining strength at a rate I'm very happy with. Somtimes when eat a lot of carbs it seems to help..but nothing has had the same effect that Popeyes chicken had LOL! But I'm sure eating fastfood everyday is not the solution to my problem. Not sure if this a supplement problem, diet problem, or training problem.

Keep on going
It takes longer for tall people to get size. 16" arms are pretty good. I wish mine where 16" cut like diamondz
Lol @ maybe I should just end it all. You depressed?

Complex carbs! And water too. And if you're not getting about 1.5x your bw in protein while on the M-Stak, you're wasting your $.

You've got great size for your height, Glycergrow I was going to suggest until I saw you were using it, so that should make a difference for you. Complex carbs give me great pumps, IDK about your diet but you could consider a carb-up/refeed day.

Yes, my arms look skinny to me. I look too lanky in my opinion. I know it'll take lot of time for me to get the size I'm looking for though.

i dont see any carb foods in your little list so i would suggest adding alot of those to your diet... that will help with the fullness feeling

Carbs! If you are getting plenty of complex carbs, then maybe it's just teh genetics :/ All you can do then is keep going going going

1. You're lifting heavier weights
2. You weigh more
3. you have a good diet
Your problem seem to be your perception, not necessarily how you look
If you want more size , then you can eat a smaller serving of protein (mixed w/carbs preworkout) and a larger pwo. Swallow more bcaa's
Other then that steroid are the best bet

Do you still actively hoop???
If not try dextrose powder pre and post workout.
At 6'3 and 225 basketball player you can't have that much bodyfat

i'm the same way dude. tall ecto, close to 6 feet, when i started lifting i was like 135 pounds 3 years later i'm 170 but still dont think i look very good. also my gains are at a snails pace now. i think i will seriously need to gain another 20 pounds of muscle before i am satisfied but that seems like an impossible goal without AAS.
