On a cut. Would REALLY appreciate some advice.

A few questions (sorry!)
I'm on a cut:
a) How does my meal plan look?
b) How much fat/protein should be consumed immediately pre-bed to prevent catabolism during sleep?
I'm 6' 2", 156lbs endomorph/mesomorph, and currently my cutting meal plan on training days looks like this:

Meal One (Pre-workout meal):
322 calories: 30g Starchy Carbs, 28g Protein, 15g Fat

Workout:
45mins Weights followed by 45mins light walking on treadmill with incline (HR: 130-150)

Immediately PWO:
WPI Shake
160 calories: 40g Protein

Meal Two (Post-workout meal [30-45mins after PWO Shake]):
322 calories: 30g Starchy Carbs, 28g Protein, 0g Fat (*i read that consuming NO fat in the post-workout meal is the way to go... or will this cause too much of an insulin spike?*)

Meal Three:
302 Calories: 25g Carbs (Fruit/Veg), 28g Protein, 10g Fat

Meal Four:
302 Calories: 25g Carbs (Fruit/Veg), 28g Protein, 10g Fat

Meal Five:
282 Calories: 20g Carbs (Veg), 28g Protein, 10g Fat

Meal Six:
262 Calories: 15g Carbs (Veg), 28g Protein, 10g Fat

Immediately Pre-Bed:
Casein Shake in water and 1tbsp Natural P.B.
186 Calories: 24g Protein (from shake), 15g Fat (from P.B.)

Total Calories: 2138

Thumbs up

Without knowing how old you are, your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is roughly 1800 calories, so logic says that you aren't doing any cutting at all if you're over 2100 calories. use www.fitday.com to play around with tracking your meals. to start, you should try a 40/40/20 split of carbs, protein, fats respectively, and try to keep your calories around 1650-1700.

one question...156 pounds at 6'2" is a pretty lean body...why are you cutting?
I'm 5'6" and at 165 right now with 13% body fat. my goal is to be 155 pounds at 7% by end of october.

hope this helps!

Pardon my apparent lack of experience with my one post! Just came across this site the other day

You have to times your BMR by an activity level usually 1.6. On working out days he's probably burning 2880 so 2100 on a non-working day is solid. Also, I would like to know why you're cutting at 156 when you're 6'2?

Ok well if your 6'2 and weigh 156 pounds you need to bulk and gain weight before you cut. You are way under weight and the only way you will lose your skinny fat is by bulking up first and then cutting again.

Honestly it will be easier to cut after a clean bulk than it is for you to cut right now. The reason you will probably find this is because your metabolism will increase with the more Lean Body Mass that you have. Just my .02 but that is what I would do if I were you. Good Luck!
