chicken gizzards compared to chicken breast??
are chicken gizzards just as good as a chicken breast??? i mean lean protien source???

yeah i love the taste also, arnt chick thighs the worst part of the chicken, fat concentration being the highest??

Yep, but I'm doing keto, and that's a good thing. "The flavor's in the fat". The hearts are good grilled too - put them all on a skewer.

One cup of chopped chicken gizzards contains 221 calories, 40 g protein, 5 g fat and 130 mg cholesterol. It?s a good source of iron (6 g), potassium (260 mg), folate (76 mcg), phosphorous (225 mg) and an excellent source of selenium (137 mcg).
I've never looked them up until now. I eat them, but not often. They are real good boiled with garlic, onion and tomatoes, and spices. cooked down until it's the consistency of pasta sauce.

hmmm so come to think abt it roughly 60 grms of chicken gizzards equal the same amout as a protien shake in both calories and protien, not bad not bad at all
