I understand your zeal to continue pushing it in the gym, but I have always believed that its best to take a week off every 6 to 7 weeks to allow the body to totally recover from all that heavy stress. Just because a muscle has recovered doesnt mean the central nervous system has. It takes alot out of your cns whenever you hit the gym, especially if you are lifting heavy. Sometimes a week off is just the thing you need to come back strong.
