good idea? bad idea?
ok i have to be up for work in 6 hours, luckily its only a 1 hour job, ill fnish at about 7.00 in the morning i have to leave my house and wont be able to workout for the rest of the day at 11.00 do u tihnk an early morning workout is ok or will it be counter productive seeing as im only getting a max of 5 hours sleep tonite

Test and HGH are at their peaks when you first wake up...make sure you eat breakfast and take a nap during the day and you should be good.

its up to you....only you know what your body can handle...personally i'd nit be able to function during an early morning workout with 5 hrs of sleep...

im playing cricket you see ( spare the jokes ) i could probly fit a nap in before i went. i really dont want to miss a workout. ill keep it short and sweet and make sure i have a good breakfast, thanks both of you

I would leave it until you get home, since your going to be doing alot of cardio anyway you might as well not waste your work in the gym.
I can only see it being counter productive.

ye the alternative is to have a workout in the evening wen i get home, maybe i shud just skip it and catch up on sleep

Could you not just count that day as a cardio /rest day.
Its not as if you wont be using your upper body and most of building the body is your diet anyway, dont worry about it i say.

Well there's no reason you cant work and go to the gym. Lots of people work 8 hours a day and still find time to workout.
5 hours sleep isn't enough, but you can still go to the gym, just do lower volume.
