Is frozen fruit as good as regular fresh fruit for you? does it have the same nutritional value?

You can buy huge bags of it for cheap, also, buy tubs of frozen blueberries etc.
I believe they have the same nutrional benefit.

No I'm not going to freeze it. There are bags of all different kinds of frozen fruit. Of course I buy fresh fruit, I'm just wondering if they have the same nutritional value because I like to make smoothies with frozen fruit. Also wondering if it would be a good pwo drink, that's why I asked how good it is

Short answer, yes . . .
Frozen fruit is somewhat mushy when thawed, but the nutrients r unchanged.
I eat fresh 90% of the time, but its 4 purely culinary reasons. The only frozen fruit I regularly use r wild blueberries & strawberries, 2 go in my protein shakes & oats.

I'm not asking about how they taste...I know how frozen fruit taste and if you use it in smoothies/sorbet it tastes good....the question was about nutritional value...and what was the nuts comment about?

The freezer will use black magic to extract the nutrients from the fruit for its own evil plans.

Frozen is as good as, if not better than fresh (depending on where the fresh ones are from). Frozen fruits are frozen immediately after being picked ripe from the source, therefore locking in all its nutrients. As for fresh fruits, if its local, its great! Go for it. But if its from half way across the world, the fruits will not have been picked when its ripe.
