Need a cosigner for a loan. Parents dont wanna be it, thinking of say **** it and...
putting their name down anyway. Good or bad idea?

Nah you cant, because they will need more cosigner information. A scan of there drivers license, Social security numbers etc. Adding the signature to the application is just the first step. There going to ask for more.
Thats BS though why did your parents say they wouldnt co sign? What did they do when you asked what the hell they expect you to do about an education?

all i needed was social security number and i'm sure the kid can get his dads social security number somehow easily.

Dont know whats worse, the fact my parents wont cosign so I can ****ing get back in school, or the fact I'm seriously thinking about doing it, and I work in a jail

yea, I mean its bull****. My only hope are private loans, and there the biggest scam ever. I took one out for $8000.00, and when its all said in done, I would have ended up paying $40,000 for a ****ing 8000.00 loan. Interest and monthly payments would have kicked my ass. I had to send the check back

I hear ya. I got my financial aid, government loans and all that **** but it still wasnt enough to pay for my school. My mom wasnt goig to co sign for my private loans either until I just sit down and had a talk with her and asked her just what they hell she expected me to do without an education. She then gave in and signed it. Private loans are a pain in the ass.
Just know, that you will be in serious **** if you get caught man. I think your parents should respect your desire to get into school more, but of course I dont know your whole family situation so I really cant comment.
