she falls asleep, and i do believe shes fallen asleep because she is tired a lot of the time but if it meant that much u cud prevent urself just falling asleep or maybe thats just me?

I wouldn't go quite that far.

I always tend to think negative at first, but it really helps to give her the benefit of the doubt until you find out the real reason(s) for her not calling.

I had a friend who did this. We were friends when we hung out but as far as the phone went, he acted like he wouldn't call me if it was the last thing he had to do in life.

I think chicks can be this way too. They're cool in person, but when other communication is concerned, they just don't care.

Idk for sure, never will. My girl picks up the phone when I call, but never calls me just to talk.

This is a sign that she is losing interest. Either that or she is somewhere she doesnt want u to know about. Next time she calls dont answer and when she asks just say, oh I was busy. Or call her back when u know she wont answer. U have to learn to play her game.

Ignore her , sooner or later she will call ask whats wrong ( if she cares ) , then go: I need a girl that respects me and doesn't make a fool of me , my time is precius and if you say you will call me you don't forget , hang up..

Then she will call you again and apologize etc , say you forgive her if she does you a little favour ( If she cares she will agree , don't go all out here though ) but if it happens again you won't forgive her again.

Considering she cares about you this will work 100% guarante.

If she doesn't care she won't do it , then leave her you don't care and it won't work later anyway.

Man i just broke up with my girl for the same reason. I'm a Marine so i'm all sorts of anal about being on time and prompt. She would say she'd call me back in 10 minutes and it would be an hour and a half. I warned her plenty of times that it was pissing me off and one of my pet peeves but she kept doing it so i dropped her like a bad habbit

If you really like her then just realize that she does it often and doesn't mean to. If you get mad at her everytime it is just gong to put stress on the relationship--Its just how she is, no point in getting mad about it.

If you do break up with her over this i wouldnt worry about it too much it means you probably didnt like her too much in the first place. But if you really do like her a lot, just come to realize that she does it and accept it. Don't get mad at her.

She also might be saying it because she feels obligated to call you back but knows that she probably will not (sort of like when you say you are going to be 10 min late but you know you are probably going to be 15 or 20 min late). So let her know its not a big deal if she is not actually going to call you back, and that she can tell you.

This is passive aggression.

If you react defensive you will simply make yourself look controlling and unreasonable. You react to it by punishing the behavior indirectly. For instance, the next time she wants to hang out you find an excuse not to.

Keep alternating back and forth. When she calls then you hang out with her. When she doesn't then you don't.

You want to hit her subconscious that if she fails to call you, you fail to hang out with her.

Sure, she'll give you crap about being difficult and being "weird" (womens' speak for you doing something against her expectations) but you need to nip this behavior in the bud.

Its perfectly reasonable to expect a phone call when someone tells you they will call.
