I'm having trouble sleeping (serious)
I'm hoping someone has experienced this before and can suggest something to me. I've recently had surgery and after surgery I slept fine time to time but now I can't sleep for some reason, it gets to a point where I just pass out somewhere in the house and manage to get 3 hours of sleep. I've even gone a whole day and not slept or napped and I still can't sleep.
My body gets tired and I'm really tired but when I try to sleep I feel short of breath, I'm not really short of breath but its like being tied down kind of short of breath. Whenever I took painkillers it would knock me out eventually but I don't want to keep taking them as a way to get sleepy.
Did my body adapt to pain killers, Whats with the anxiety? I've talk to my surgeon about it and he wants to prescribe something for me to fall asleep but its not going to solve ****. I'm trying to figure out why I feel so short of breath and claustrophobic.
Is it because I'm a little wrapped up or I can't move as much when sleeping because of the stitching and slight pain.. what do you guys think it is?
Sometimes its really hard, my body wants to sleep, I want to ****ing sleep and yet I can't. Is this normal after surgery?
day 2 and counting on no sleep here..

yeah. I did some research just now and people keeping looking for pills as a solution. First of all I'm 20, I shouldn't be having problems sleeping. Plus it's not so much trouble sleeping because I can't sleep, its trouble breathing while trying to sleep...
damn it if urgent care is going to recommend me some pills to put in my body. I'm not getting addicted to that **** I don't need a chemical to knock me out, I need to figure out where the anxiety is coming from..
sorry a little pissed its 4:12am and I need to get up at 8am, I don't want to go through a whole day feeling like ****.
