Leg Going Numb During Sprints?
Okay, some of you may have seen my other topic so again, this was my 1st day of preseason...
During the 2nd session, we did some spints at the end of practice going the WIDTH of the field and back and that counted as one, so I though it was gonna be okay. So on the 1st one, I did awesome and almost beat the whole team so i thought I was home free. Then on the 2nd sprint my legs began to go numb but I still went 120% since we cant dog it.
Then it kept on getting worse and worse and I kept on falling mroe and more behind until I felt like I was jogging in place. So I was like WTF because this has never happened to me (and I am typing this rigth after practice and I still feel dizzy).
So on the last sprint (and we only did 6) I could not feel my legs at all and they were numb and buring but I still did it and I think I might have been the last one to cross the line (I also bumped into 2 other players head on), so I felt pretty embarrassed and still do.
Then after that the coach told us to take a knee and I felt like I was going to fall over so I had to put my hand on the ground to balance myself, by then i had lost all feeling in my legs and i thought there was something seriously wrong.
As I walked back to the locker room my legs felt better but I was very dizzy and my back ached and also the neck...
---So this is very weird because I drank 3 bottles of water before I went to practice and has a good healthy lunch and rested. And I also work out all the time so im not out of shape. So even though I didnt feel dehydrated I think that may have been it, i also only got about 5 hours of sleep (MAX) the night before...
So anybody have any suggestions? This has never happened to me before and I feel very bad almost finishing last on the final sprint while almost finished 1st on the first sprint.

Yeah, you're dehydrated and had pathetic rest. Probably out of shape too. 2-a-days whenever your home you should down a ton of food and the rest of the day constantly force water down your throat.

Maybe not, I didnt condition much during the off season but I lifted like crazy and I'm in better physical shape than most the team. And I know we didnt condition much which was the weird thing, I usually dont tire out that quick.

Do you mean pathetic rest inbetween sprints or at home? Cause I have insomia and it blows. Last night I got in bed at 9:20 and didnt fall asleep till' 1:40ish, I get so angry when I cant sleep. I broke my remote when I threw it onm the ground...
