George W. Bush is a great man, and should be addressed with respect.
I know most of you dont like him, but hes a God damn president. He deserves the respect for it.
You might blame him for EVERYTHING THATS GOING WRONG in and outside U.S, but think about it, do you think those are his decisions ?
He is just a person appointed to WORK. He does not makes his own decisions based on his personal thoughts.
Theres a whole think tank behind it. Theres the senate, the ministries etc etc.
He was not the one who initiated the Iraq work.
It was what was on the Presidential Agenda when he was appointed.
Do you think a President builds dams, or builds more hospitals or orders does something major in the country because he WANTS TO ?
HELL NO
Whatever is done is done whats on the Presidential Agenda.
Fortunately or Unfortunately Bush was appointed when the Agenda highlighted the Afghan and Iraq war.
You guys think none of this would have happend if Al Gore came ? or lets say by any miracle Clinton was to stay for another 4 years ?
NOPE. Whats happening under Bush administration would have happend under Al-Gora or Clinton or X Y Z administrations aswell.

I think the office of the President should afford a person a level of respect, but that hasn't happened since Bush the Elder.
As for Bush being a great man... simply being President doesn't make you great (see: Carter, Jimmy).
People probably should lay off the Nazi crap and overblowing what a "moron" he is, but I doubt most think he's that good...

I'm sure he's very upset about that, too. Btw, most smart people can distinguish between someone and their father (and even then you're wrong).

Gore wouldnt of signed bills into law like the "clear skies initiative" and the "healthy forrest initiative" which actually allowed for more pollution and more destruction of forrest. Bush is an very decietful and misleads our country. He bull****ted our country into a completely unjust war thats wasted thousands of lives. But i guess thats part of his pro-life stand huh?

so yea.. it's not long now & we'll have someone new maybe someone we can all agree we Respect

No. Just because he has "president" in front of his name doesn't mean he must be respected, especially if he's a supreme f**k up

Read PNAC. The Bush administration was dead set on invading Iraq from day one. Its not liberal vs conservative, if John McCain was elected in 2000 we wouldnt be in this ****storm....
EDIT: what is this mysterious presidential agendayou speak of that apparently is followed by both parties no matter who is elected? (no conspiracy)

find one Christian who claims not to sin.
being Christian is in part recognizing that you sin, not that you never do.

How can you be against something (christianity) you clearly no nothing about? I am not trying to start an e-fight with you, that is a legitimate question. To say christians are hypocrites because they sin shows you do not have the first clue what you are talking about. All I am saying is do some studying up on something you seem to have this deep hatred for, yet dont know why you should hate it...talk about following someone elses footsteps.

Iraq is a shambles, we all accept that.
And rather than blindly support a leader I prefer something called ACCOUNTABILITY.
We were mislead into a war that will trouble us for a while to come.
Granted, support your country, educate yourself and vote well, without doubt support your country's troops abroard, but criticise your government ruthlessly!
If power corrupts I believe strong scrutiny and a storng opposition is the antidote.
BTW partially agrew with OP.. respect is nessecary too.

First off George Bush is President because we voted Him into office. He only deserves the respect that we want to give him. I cannot stand him. I believe that he is a liar and a murderer. I respect the position of President but I do not respect the President in office. He is the worst President in the History of the US.

you have to admit, while even though what hitler did was wrong, he was extremely succesful and transformed a nation from the dumps to the top. He gets my respect for that. some of the ways he did it and such, I might disagree with though, but face it, it worked for him, and it took a hell of a lot to take him down
