Just came back from Kittie concert.
Damn these girls still know how to rock. Lots of hot emo girls there. Better than any club I've ever been to in the past few months.

There were three bands playing before them tonight. However, I don't recall "Bring Me The Horizon" playing tonight. I didn't pay attention to the other bands playing.

BTW, the bassist is sick, so they had some guy playing the bass. That sucked. However, the concert was pretty good.

Kittie is going on tour with Bring Me The Horizon, Silent Civilan, It Dies Today, and Blessed By A Broken Heart. I dont like kittie, but the rest of the bands are good. BBABH dresses like they're 80's metal but they'e hardcore and ****, haha its awesome.

Ok, I remember "It Dies Today". They were pretty good. There was a British band playing. I don't remember their name. I'm kind of drunk right now, so you have to forgive me if I don't remember some names.

i dunno if they still try to do this, but i remember their first single "Spit" was pretty bad: the singer said she was trying to do death metal vocals, but girls aren't good at screaming/growling. they just sound silly.

It Dies Today is ****in good. Well, their old stuff is good. Dont like the new stuff as much. Bring me the horizon is from the UK, so that was probably them.

I am not a hardcore Kittie fan, but they sounded pretty good. The vocalist does sound cool growling and screaming. She still looks good after these years since their first album.

According to Wikipedia, they were 14 when they started the band, 17 when Brackish was a hit, and the singer was born in 82 so that'd make her 25 now.
Dunno, I'd have to agree with the "girls can't do scream/growl vocals" assessment, or at least Kittie wasn't very good at it.

yeah I think girls do their fair bit in metal these days, just angela Gossow is one of the more famous ones to be put out there. Thats how she got her name because everyone said she would never fill the shoes of the old singer, instead the band took off after she moved in!!!
