the original question still hasn't been answered and I would also love to know....
unless your computer has some sort of DVR set up, I miss being able to record the event off of PAYPERVIEW so that I can rewatch it.....

As far as I know, webcast replays will be available on Bodybuilding.com for a certain period of time, so you can download and rewatch them at your leisure. After that period of time, the folks over at Weider will have an official 2007 Olympia DVD available for purchase just like previous years. (Just so you know, the PPV last year didn't work for a lot of people... so it wasn't a bed of roses, either... LOL)

That's really cool, but do you think it's going to get jammed because of all the people that will try to access the server at one time?

No, this won't be an issue. While we had some of these issues on earlier webcasts (e.g., 2007 Arnold), we have increased our bandwidth cap exponentially since then, and you'll note that we had no bandwidth problems at all on the 2007 Europa webcast.

Definition of 'webcast' -
The word webcast is derived from "web" and "broadcast." Its use has varied since the early-mid 1990s as the nature of the medium came into public use. Webcasting is sending audio and/or video live over the Internet. In essence, webcasting can be thought of as broadcasting over the Internet. The generally accepted use of the term webcast is the "transmission of linear audio or video content over the Internet". A webcast uses streaming media technology to take a single content source and distribute it to many simultaneous listeners/viewers. The largest "webcasters" include existing radio and TV stations who "simulcast" their output, as well as a multitude of Internet only "stations". The term webcasting is usually reserved for referring to non-interactive linear streams or live events.
